Precover · For surgeons
A patient handed you a Precover packet
Precover is a free 5-minute pre-op readiness check your patient ran on their own before consultation. The packet they brought you is auto-generated from conservative, audit-logged rules — GLP-1 use, OSA risk, nutrition gaps, anticoagulants, missing labs. It is informational only and is not a clearance.
What the packet contains
- Procedure tier and triggered rules in plain language.
- Medication flags including GLP-1 medications and anticoagulants.
- STOP-Bang OSA risk score with CPAP carry-on prompts when relevant.
- Nutrition readiness with suggested staff actions.
- Missing labs and records against the procedure tier.
What it is not
Not a medical clearance. Not a diagnosis. Not AI-decided — the readiness signal is rules-based and audit-logged. Final decisions remain with the surgeon and anesthesia team.
